Maybe I haven't bought a "new" shoe in a really long time, but over 100 bucks is 'spensive, yo.

I agree. I look forward to trying them in 9-12 months when the 980 v2 is announced and these can be found for about 50 bucks.
Runners run
I wore this shoe for my first marathon. Not only did I finish under my goal time, but I also managed to run 26 miles without a single blister or issue with my feet.
