Nashville run (Read 1017 times)

I'll be there, but I may have to bail if you do more than 10. Which is really too bad. I'll work on securing permission to stay longer, if necessary. 6:45 okay?

Is 6:45 the pace, the starting time, the finish time, or the time it will take you to cover 10 miles? I'm confused.

Ahem. To arrive at the venue, smarty-pants.

There are lots of folks running, and they are expecting 7.

To arrive, not leave, doc. Clear your stethoscope. Just wanted to make sure if I got there by 6:45 I'd be there in time. But now it's looking iffy, anyway. Maybe I'll see you, maybe not. But I do want to try that beer.

Hey you all talk and no run guys, this is what you missed - At least we had a philosopher out there with us Wink

                Why is it sideways?

Trent--if you had posted that elevation chart BEFORE the run, I would have gone elsewhere! Tongue Good times. We'll do it again. Now if we can only get these other RA folks together--sounds like it'll take more than hills to get the gorilla man out--maybe an evening run with a homebrew cooldown...

sorry i got hammered last night and didn't get up in time. I got in the 10 i needed today so I am not too disappointed. Beer is difficult to say no to......to get JK out you have to pay off the commander from the sounds of it! The course doesn't look that bad for you flying monkey fans. i can't spell so i fixed what i noticed :P
Damn I wish I could find some hills like that without a 2 hour drive. Jealous.

There are some really tough hills just up the road from you in Falmouth. Jeff began his Pikes Peak training this morning Big grin
Falmouth, Maine or Mass? In order to get really long hills (such as the ones in your chart that are a mile or more in length and gain several hundred feet in one shot) I need to go about 90 minutes North or West from here.

Sorry I missed it. We had a minor logistical issue, and her commitment trumped mine. I tried to argue, but once she asked "Why can't you just run around here?" - well, the argument was pretty much over. Future Saturday mornings ought to be better, and Sunday mornings better yet. What happened to all the rain this weekend, anyway? I had my ark all built and everything.

Falmouth Mass. Big long nasty hills. Shocked JN, how about some trails tomorrow (Monday)?
Falmouth, Mass? Eh. Some nasty hills, but none very long. I'll admit it's hard to find flat ground in Falmouth but there are no real big hills. Just a lot of relentless, small rolling ones. Kind of like here.
