The fastest time for a male sprinter in the 100-meter dash is 9.58 seconds, vs. the fastest female @ 10.49 seconds; that's less than a second. Not bad, given all the disadvantages...

After reading all the advantages men have over women when it comes to running, I'd expect a little more separation in times

Odd that it doesn't mention that the difference hovers pretty consistently around women running 10-12% slower at least from 100m to the marathon.

The article doesn't even mention how women have to work less hard to prevent their uteruses from falling out.

It's hard work preventing your uterus from falling out!  Sometimes I forget to clench, and out it comes. It really puts a cramp in your splits.
