I ran a 5k two days ago in splits of 6:50 6:47 6:34 And felt like I was out for a tempo run...still had a lot left at the finish. It felt great. Had I run the 1st mile 20 seconds faster I would have hurt alot more but to get better times you must learn to run through pain which you did. Nice job.
