Calorie Tracking Website (Read 948 times)

SparkPeople has a better search, and a cleaner interface overall, though it doesn't let you edit items that you have added.
Actually, if you click on the item in your daily food listing on the nutrition page, it's easy to change the amount. A window pops up with the item detail, and you can change it.

Thanks for that tip AnneCA - I had never clicked, assuming that the link would just be the detailed nutrition information. For completeness sake, there's a previous thread about this here: http://runningahead.com/forums/post/235365ff8b884f49be27659b4b5df187 There's also one about FitDay here: http://runningahead.com/forums/post/b25366dbe860423a8cd784d4e7a77572 I'm going to try Livestrong/DailyPlate today . . .

I was using Fitday but was always having to add food to the database, and entering exercises was completely lacking. Switched to: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/ Have found very few food that were not listed.

I have been using www.thedailyplate.com for two months now and it is the best one I have ever used. The database is so extensive that I have only had to add two foods ever (besides ones from personal recipes).

          ...And I do.

I love SP! I've lost 70# using their program and that was before I started a running program! However, that being said, CalorieKing kicks butt with their software program. Since you download it, it is a lot faster than the calorie trackers on the large SP site. And it is way more intuitive. Just my .02 Big grin My ID on SP is Purelyshell if anyone gets there and wants to say hello!
