    And, during my whole running career (24 years) I have drank maybe 20l of sport drinks. Last drop in my mouth was 6 years ago.
    I actually prefer on long runs / marathons to swallow electroylte caps and just drink water. Maybe once / twice during race I eat a couple Clif-Bloks but seem to do fine otherwise. The sweet taste of drinks and gels makes me nauseas when I am on long runs. I believe I am less affected by low calorie intake than low electrolyte intake.
