        Great job!

If you went out too fast and got tired later on -- which is what almost all of us do at first, and lots of the kids do every time -- then you can try adjusting your tactics the next time Smile

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

!  Feel's pretty good, eh???  Rock out and keep it up!

          Consistently Slow

            So proud of myself! Smile

Congrats!  26:13 is an awesome time for your first 5k!

Nice going Kevin!  Race for the Cure 2009 was my first 5K and I've been hooked ever since.

Keep us posted on your progress.

Do you know the feeling I know? When your legs have disappeared, and there is only your heart, your lungs, and your eyes skimming disembodied through the air? - Jeff

                  Awesome dude!

Goals for 2013: sub 18 5K; stay healthy

                  325th place or bust!

Nice going Kevin!  I'm envious - it took me several years to get below 26 minutes in a 5K.

                    PR: 5K 22:41, 10K 51:05, HM 1:59, Sprint Tri: done!

26:13 in your first 5K is an excellent time especially in a 5k race with 3000 runners

That is an awesome first 5k!!! Wait until you see what you can do as you train longer and longer... you'll be super happy.
