I started running 2 months ago and run 3-4 miles every other day, 8:45 mile pace, 39 year old M 170lb. I run mostly tarmac but also grass, gravel, track, stretch for 5 mins before and after.
In the last week I have Noticed a bruise developing on my inner thigh just above my knee. It doesn’t give me any pain or soreness and isn’t affecting my run, but I want to prevent further injury. Should I rest for a few days, or treat This in any way. Is this a muscle strain or a result of my body not being used to running.
This does not sound like anything to do with running. You need to get it checked out by a physician.
I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.
