Fast Shufflers? (Read 747 times)

Are there any fast shufflers here? How can I improve my shuffling? So far it has been injury free - unlike my past running attempts... Big grin http://stevequick.blogspot.com/2007/12/sprinting-short-course.html
There are some fast shufflers... Alberto Salazar and Derek Clayton could shuffle 5 minute miles for two hours.

Before I tell you about the secret society for shufflers, I need to know: can you keep a secret? Cool
Be yourself. Those that matter, don't mind. Those that mind, don't matter.

Shuffling is better than bounding like an astronaut running on the moon, yes Big grin
I call it a "shuffle" due to the efforts to minimize vertical displacement and maximize horizontal speed Blush Both feet still leave the ground so it is not a racewalk ...technically speaking Big grin http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn4179/is_20070521/ai_n19163461
"A good local race walker can do a marathon in eight-minute miles," said Bruce Leasure, the president and 20-year veteran of Twin Cities Race Walkers. "A world-class race walker will do it in sub-seven-minute miles."
