Getting back into it
Oh I know Rune. My foot definitely has some pain left, but it’s about half of what it was last week. So it shouldn’t hinder my race, just be more of annoyance than anything. Piwi and Andres have both run marathons on it and said it was fine, so I’m not too concerned. Just more something I’ll have to deal with after the race before picking up my Boston training.
Jmac I didnt actually run the marathon with that injury, but I had the injury in the cycle. It came right when i cut my mileage back.
Good luck once again. I will be frothing to check your result in the morning.
My week. Had to cut it short today as my calf/hammie strain is showing itself again after 2 biggish climbing days.

Somewhere in between is about right "
Piwi - solid week and hope that calf is sorting itself out.
Me - had a pretty good week, a bit of post-race fatigue and tightness in the legs until Friday, then on Saturday had a really good workout. Legs were pretty tired from the workout though so today's long run was pretty easy. Will be putting a bit of work in before Omaha in early December. Like any local race it really depends who shows up, but I reckon I should be able to run at least ~1:18 there which might be good enough for first place. Regardless, it'd be nice to finish the year off with a really solid effort.
