Many of us aren't sure what the hell point you are trying to make and no matter how we guess, it always seems to be something else. Which usually means a person is doing it on purpose.

There are head to head team matchups every week, so you need an even number of teams.

In 2017 there were 10 teams.

True. There were 10 in 2018 as well. Maybe something in the coding changed after that bc in the last few years, it's been asking for multiples of 4. The admins can't control some aspects of the game. We input the details and the system gives us the result.
This year it is 8 teams and even so, the teams are smaller than we'd like. We are working with the numbers we have.
REMINDER: If you signed up for a team, check the 2022 forum to find your team. Each team has a thread with a list of members. Please check in if you haven't already.
