    You'll ruin your knees!

So sorry you are dealing with all this, not much upsets us like the health and well being of our children (mine are all in their 20's, but it never stops!). My thoughts and prayers for Aaron, those caring for him and for your rest and peace of mind, "stinky head". Lynn B

        Why is it sideways?

Jeff ---- They're all evil. Smile I am exicted that today I finally figured out how to post a picture! jlynnbob --- Thank you. Geesh...stinky head? Maybe in 5 year old language that means "wow, you look like a zombie and you should get some sleep".

Very cute kids Michelle! Congrats on figuring out how to post pics Smile Oh and I've always believed the cuter they are the more evil they are lol

M, Sorry to read about your day. Hope you get some good info Friday. We just went through my 7 mo old's surgery to remove a dermoid cyst above his eye. Pretty simple operation, but not simple for us. Very stressful, thank the Lord for running... I've been trying to figure out how to post a pic for a while now, what's the secret??

OMG, did you attend the same school of motherhood that Eryn and I did? We are always telling people (out of earshot of our kids) that our children are evil! I hope you get to the bottom of what is causing his seizures. You guys are in my thoughts. k

cute kids! Smile but what a bummer of a day! Sad Hope you find some better answers so the little guy can get appropriate treatment. I'm glad Trent was able to encourage you to seek out more info. It's terribly difficult to consider a longterm condition in one of our children, but the good news is that there are so many treatments out there that can prevent these things from taking away from quality of life.

SpinDr--- I cheated and used a post from the thread of furry friends on how to insert pictures.... To insert a picture first click on the picture in the formating line above...Then paste that address in between the two >< symbols. to get the address of the picture you want you need to right click on the picture and then go to properties and then copy the address for where the picture is coming from. i hope that helps. it was frustrating for me the first few times until i figured it out. symbols.="" to="" get="" the="" address="" of="" the="" picture="" you="" want="" you="" need="" to="" right="" click="" on="" the="" picture="" and="" then="" go="" to="" properties="" and="" then="" copy="" the="" address="" for="" where="" the="" picture="" is="" coming="" from.="" i="" hope="" that="" helps.="" it="" was="" frustrating="" for="" me="" the="" first="" few="" times="" until="" i="" figured="" it="" out.=""></ symbols. to get the address of the picture you want you need to right click on the picture and then go to properties and then copy the address for where the picture is coming from. i hope that helps. it was frustrating for me the first few times until i figured it out. >

What a cute family, Michelle. Hope everything turns out alright.

Trent----- some interesting facts....Last night my husband broke out his daily planners from the past three years and opened his spreadsheet for our family medical history (he has a spreadsheet for EVERYTHING)... He confirmed that the number of seizures Aaron has had to date is 11 (not 12 like I had thought), and that it has been 2 years and one month since his last seizure, which would put his last seizure happening before he turned 4. His seizures came in sets of two, either 2 or 3 hours apart or within 24 hours, with the exception of one time when he had a seizure at daycare (imagine the phone call I got from daycare, the teacher had never seen such a thing). All of the seizures, except the daycare one happened at home. We had to start him on breathing treatments yesterday, due to the "Bronchitis" breathing issues. MODIFIED TO ADD: And all of the seizures happened with fevers from causes of ear infections, pneuomonia, stomach virus, and now bronchitis.

                          Good Bad & The Monkey

Actually, some of that is reassuring, including the time since the last seizure, the fact that many of them came together (indicating fewer overall seizure periods) and that all of them were in the context of illness with fever. However, I'd get a second opinion just to be sure. That may involve an EEG and MRI along with the neurologist's exam (all to be decided by the neurologist). Make sure it is a pediatric neurologist. Good luck!
Update....This is the longest run of dealing with fevers that we've had with Aaron. Even with double meds (Advil and Tylenol staggered) he is still running fevers (since Tuesday). It went back up to 103 right before dinner tonight. It's been a long week of my husband and I taking turns sleeping in his bed with him to watch him. Family doctor saw Aaron this a.m., wants us to take him to three specialist, a neuro, an asthma/allergy, and ears-nose-throat dr. Poor little guy, he's going to end up on daily allergy or asthma meds for sure at this rate. Something we were hoping to avoid.

Why and ear/nose/throat doc? Does he have strep or influenza? (it ain't bronchitis)
