I'm looking for a program that will allow me to edit, convert, PDF documents. I purchase Adobe Acrobat Pro and it's not sufficient. Adobe Acrobat Pro DC requires a one-year subscription. I want to purchase a program and be done with it and not have to worry about canceling subscriptions. The only products I'm familiar with are the Adobe products, which is what we use at work.

You could try that. I did a Google search and quite a few hits for "edit PDF". All depends on what exactly you want to do.
not bad for mile 25
Some of my colleagues use Nitro Pro. I have no personal experience with it, however.

My department in our office uses Foxit and are happy with it.. It's available as a one time purchase.

You should try PDF Converter Pro, it edits and converts PDF files very easily. All you need is a good machine with a fast processor. I have an efficient laptop that can process heavy programs easily. I got this laptop from the Inateck coupon.
