I keep waiting for something to lure me back the L.A. Marathon..... I ran 4 out of the first 6 LA Marathons and then again another one a few years ago. I have to say that the first layout to me was the best...... and I think the courses have kept getting worse each time they change them. Point to point races just don't cut it for me. Even all the media hype has diminished over the last few years..... I remember seeing commercials and news stories that would make me want to run LA... where has it gone...... Maybe next year
