Here's a phoney haiku from a year or two ago:
Training for the Seattle marathon,
a maple leaf catches my hand.
I'm on a diet
but I eat too freaking much
my gut is too fat
When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?
When I drink alone
Beer labels are strewn on ground
For whom to enjoy?
Hey, nice marmot!
Is glass hot or cold?
Only one way to be sure.
Ow Ow Ow Ow Ow!!!

Tomorrow will be worse
Haiku's are easy
but some don't make any sense
refrigerator
Hills, rain and monkeys.
Baked goods and beer justify
Ritual of pain.

you artsy folks think you're so great. you should see my kid's art. he traced his hand and applied some paint and low and behold... it looked just like a turkey. you wouldn't believe it! a turkey! now that's a true artistic genius.
