I wear these, so a couple notes:
1. Low heel drop - 4 mm - so go easy at first if you have AT/PF issues.
2. I wear out the outer R heel edge outsole a bit fast and so end up patching w/Shoe Goo.

Those are zoom flys, not Vapor fly 4%. You can distinguish by the fly wire on the side, which the 4% doesn't have.

Yeah, I don't know Nike shoes. There's a link on the sidebar to ANOTHER shoe labeled the Vapor Fly 4% that looks different...maybe that's the $300 one. They are $50-70.

My son loves the new Brooks Adrenaline but no online deals this year on that one can't beat buying it from a local running store with 20% off as a sponsor of his college where he runs track & xc.

Hoka is discontinuing their Napali and Napali ATR shoes.

There are links to Napali reviews, including Ginger Runner . But basically the road version is the Clifton 3 with a lighter, wider upper and the ATR version is the Challenger 3 with a lighter, wider upper. By "wider" in Hoka-speak, it means close to medium. I bought the ATRs, and I was tempted to send them back because I could barely get my foot inside with the laces all the way loose and flopping (correct size and length shoe). But, I ran a little on our treadmill with them and they weren't as bad as I thought they might be. I did a 5-miler in the dirt with them and they're fine. Then I remembered all my Challengers and Stinson ATRs were also incredibly tight when I first tried them on, but acceptable on runs, and actually stretch a bit with use.
Keep in mind that both of these shoes are almost 2oz (about 20%) lighter than current Clifton and Challenger with the same out and mid soles, a wider and more breathable upper, so in my mind are actually better shoes...
