I’m having a hard time finding Marathons in Texas over the summer. Any advice? I’m getting frustrated with trying to search on active.com and google.
Thanks.
an amazing likeness
I would suggest looking at findmymarathon.com...
Acceptable at a dance, invaluable in a shipwreck.
So is it uncommon to find a marathon in Texas between May and October? Finmymarathon.com lists none.

Summer in Texas is not exactly ideal marathon conditions.

This is what I saw on http://findmymarathon.com/state.php Looks like 3 between May and October last year. I would assume the 2 in October just haven't updated their information for 2018 yet.
Age: 50 Weight: 224 Height: 6'3" (Goal weight 195)
Current PR's: Mara 3:14:36* (2017); HM 1:36:13 (2017); 10K 43:59 (2014); 5K 21:12 (2016)
Another option that isn't quite a "marathon", but the summer solstice runs in Abilene on the weekend of the summer solstice.
There is a 3 and 6 hour option and you run a 1 mile loop as many times as you can during that amount of time.
It is pretty well run and very low key. It looks like they haven't updated their information for 2018 yet either, but somewhere I was looking made it sound like it was the night of June 15th.

running = therapy
Memorial Day weekend...
3 flat mile loop you'll run 8+ times. Can be warm.

Note: I would NOT use this as a BQ, The course is certified I think, but it could take some extra attention to get BAA to recognize the results since the RD posts them in messy excel format.

Also, the Marathon Maniac calendar is usually the most comprehensive.

There's a subtle yellow "Search" button that allows you to filter by location, date, or distance.
MarathonGuide.com has a good calendar also.
