It looks like there is plenty of interest in a holiday running streak thread, so I will get it started.
Post if you are interested in joining.
The rules are simple, run at least 1 mile a day every single day from American Thanksgiving through and including the First Day of the New Year according to the Gregorian and Julian Calendars.
Also, as is tradition, post your mileage goal for December and try to make it your highest mileage of the year. This way if you miss a day then get right back on it and try to hit your mileage goal.
I've started my streak, it is the "bread & circuses" streak. 2 miles every day from the election of Donald Trump through and including Super Bowl Sunday.

I'll give it a go this year. I plan to kick it off with a 5K in Indiana of all places.
Highest monthly mileage of the year is not gonna happen as I just ran my highest mileage month of my life last month. 250 for December will be an honest effort.
Okay, I'm in as well - already do the streak thing anyway but having a mileage goal is good. My highest month this year was 200.1 so put me in for 205.

I'm in, but it won't be my highest mileage month of the year. I know that now. Winter is too unpredictable. I'll go for 110 miles.
