HTFU VS STFU (Read 646 times)

    Ok, I have tried every conceivable way to continue running with a left leg issue since injurying it in May. 1. Stopped for 1 week, resume slowly. Result pain comes back. 2. Stopped for 2 weeks, start with walking, gradually build back. Over do it. Result pain comes back. 3. Decided to stop running for atleast a month. Week 2 , (Last night) I decide to do a hamstring strengthing exercise. Result pain comes back. I will STFU this time and actually do no running or hamstring strengthening for atleast a month.

      That's crappy. Have you gone to your doctor and found out what the problem is or did you self diagnose?

        Initialy a did a webodosis. After 6 weeks went to a GP and got put on a topical anti-inflammatory and started phsio. I did notice an improvement with physio and stretching but I believe that I have not rested long enough for it to heal properly.
