2014 Goals: (Yeah I suck)
Are you going to run today or what?
Interesting - I have taken a day off on purpose at times, just so I do not get sucked into a streak.
I will set mileage goals per month - not per week. But even the mileage goals per month are soft goals -
2009 I made 10/12 months goals
2010 I made 6/12 months goals
Instead of streaking - I think I will try and hit a goal for days run in a year goal. 2010 I ran 300 / 365 days. THis year I would like to take less than 30 days off. THis will make for more consistent running with the ability to take days off when needed. This will be a "Hard" goal that I will work toward. Mileage per month will remain a soft goal.
Long dead ... But my stench lingers !
not bad for mile 25

You're smart.
Lately I have asked myself more than a few times (Usually a 2nd run or 3rd run of the day) ... Why am I running? Will it be a benefit or will it be a detriment to training? A run that does nothing for me, but does not hurt my training, I will often do ... because I want to + trying to lose weight. But if the answer is it will have a negative impact of my training ... It is a no go situation.
