    Really down!

We are currently experiencing an outage that affects Garmin.com and Garmin Connect. This outage also affects our call centers, and we are currently unable to receive any calls, emails or online chats. We are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible and apologize for this inconvenience.

Surely this is something Eric Smile can fix, right?

Apparently the maintenance window will run until at least Saturday.

If it's that big of a deal for anyone, you can manually download the .FIT file from your watch via USB and upload it manually.

Supposedly a ransomware attack. This may be a while.

Good thing today's a planned rest day.

It could be a few days before Garmin is back in business. In the meantime, you can manually import into RA as follows

Connect your watch to your PC using USB

                Launch Windows File Explorer

Locate the logical drive for your watch

Drill down to GARMIN >> ACTIVITY

Look at the timestamps to locate today's .FIT file

Use the RunningAhead import feature to import the file

I intend to live forever . . . or die trying.

What an absolute pain in the rear for Garmin...I feel badly that they're dealing with kind of crap. While dealing with pandemic work conditions. What a waste of their employee's time and focus.

Acceptable at a dance, invaluable in a shipwreck.

Or...don't do anything. Leave the workout on the device until all is back up and running..and it will flow through in a few days.

Yup.  Me also.  I've been pulled in on IT responses to hacking attacks a few times (one of my focuses as an attorney is computer/technology issues) - they are always nightmarish experiences for all involved.  There are some people in Kansas City really hating life right now.

Ransomware...this could take a long while. Canyon bikes in Germany was hit around the new year and they were down for several weeks.

i'm very new to the Garmin Connect world...only a few weeks in, so i understand i can manually input my runs or import them directly from the watch, but are you guys thinking that whenever Garmin works this all out everything will load from the watch and the app will have all of the previous day's activities/steps.... etc??
