Run until the trail runs out.
SCHEDULE 2016--
The pain that hurts the worse is the imagined pain. One of the most difficult arts of racing is learning to ignore the imagined pain and just live with the present pain (which is always bearable.) - Jeff

Goofy 2010
December 2003 - Topping out around 275, my first son is born, 3 months later I would find myself realizing that I had probably already started down the other side of life's hill and wasn't going to be much of a role model for him.
November 2004 - Down to 165, obsessed too much with the Calorie counting and went overboard with diet and running, and neglected weight training.
I've put some weight back on, currently around 190, but this time there is more muscle than when I was Jabba The Hutt
It's an everyday challenge, but have continued running. Just turned in a 3:59:38 time at the Bayshore Marathon!
Ideally I want to get to and stay around 180 come August.
Your case is exactly like mine but i´m strugling with every extra pound. You´re an inspiration, sir!
All this thread is an inspiration. Cheers to everyone!

How close are you to your target weight?
Keep the pace!

Luvpre,
Your Mom just called and she says my gosh you're skinny. And, pull up your shorts.
Acceptable at a dance, invaluable in a shipwreck.
LP
Your age and before photo look very similar to my shape and I often wondered if the skin around my gut and handles would tighten up again. It looks like I may not be too old to have my skin bounce back. I'm curious if you've been overweight for a long time or just over a few years?
2014 Goals:
Stay healthy
Enjoy life
Luvpre, Your Mom just called and she says my gosh you're skinny. And, pull up your shorts.
Actually, my mom almost cried, she thought I wasn't eating.
220 down to 160 in 6 months.

woah. 240 to 210 took me 1 year. 210 to 201 has taken me 1 more year. great job.
Well I went hardcore cold turkey diet change and excercise.
Just about NO fat, biked at the gym every day.
After 4 months I started running, 7 months of running I ran my first marathon.
So 11 months from the start I ran 26.2 in 3:50x.

I had no idea that David Wells would like like John Malcovich after running for a few years.

Spot on, Naderalfie and azredbirds! David Wells and John Malkovich! Luv Pre - your profile pic looks even thinner than the after pics you posted here. You look like a serious runner! Frickin awesome on the turnaround.
