            Do Epic Runs

Would do both. Keeping the compression socks on.

Fast forward quite a few years and THIS is me now:

              SD Safari Park Half Marathon

This picture was taken about 2 weeks ago at the Safari Park Half Marathon in San Diego. I am now about 125 lbs and in great health (not to mention completely sober for 3 1/2 years!!). I am so grateful that running has given me this new way of life. It's pretty freakin epic. I'm currently doing a 90 Day Body Overhaul to get in even better shape - I'm chasing that ever elusive ab definition. Wink

              On the road again...

Wow.  Just wow.  When I need to remember how great running is, this is where I come.

I have a love/hate relationship with running. I do it, but sometimes I love to hate it.

This is me during my first marathon in 2010:

From one of my marathons last month:

Ironically, I have not much (less than 5lbs) between one and the other but I have lost from a Size 12 (2010) to a Size 6.  I cannot complain.

Love the before and after pics, guys.  Great work, everybody!

                      Looking good, D!

Edit: I forgot to mention that I gained 40 lbs and got "old"  in the years in-between these two photos. I woke up one day at age 52 and decided to get off my butt and do something about it. I weigh exactly same now at 58 as I did in the 1986 photo, and wear the same waist-size pants again.

Something a bit different; me with my youngest daughter:

And the two of us again, 2012:

                        Consistently Slow

                          Cecil great picture.

Run until the trail runs out.

                              That's awesome, Cecil!

                              One day at a time

Love it, Cecil!  I will have to do that with my daughter!
