Kahtoola Exospikes? (Read 28 times)

Apparently these are Kahtoola’s new running traction device. Similar to the Nanospikes, but with more and longer spikes. I’m intrigued, but they’re $60…and the rugrat and I would both need them. I’m wondering if they’re better than YakTrax or Stabilicers (I love/hate both). It looks like they’re more aggressive, but lighter weight and still runnable on random clear paved sections (which the YakTrax aren't and we're not far from "Stefon's clubs" shoulder season, when I can encounter a little bit of everything.

Anyone have experience with these? I'm really over the treadmill, this Winter, but we're in a neverending cycle of snow with a solid layer of nasty ice underneath.
