Sydney Marathon (Australia) (Read 589 times)

SteveB

The Sydney Marathon is reputed to be one of the two fastest major marathons in Australia and as the name implies, it is conducted in the gateway to Australia: Sydney. The marathon course goes thru/over numerous tourist attractions including the Sydney Harbour Bridge and ends at the Opera House. The event this year is Sun 17 Sep. Details can be found at http://www.sydneyrunningfestival.org/ I've logged the course in Running Ahead. Go to Training Log, then select Tools, then select Find a Route. Under Key Words type Sydney Marathon. (I'm sure there is a more sophisticated way to do this.) If anyone is planning to do a trip to Australia, why not coincide it with the Sydney Marathon. 112 days to go. Steve

Great idea! Probably not this year for me, but sometime soon I hope! Best of luck!
