Anyone have the Polar RS800CX Run watch? (Read 415 times)

I currently have the Garmin 205, but would like a GPS watch with a HRM. At my work I can purchase Polar watches at a pretty decent discount.

Does anyone here have the Polar RS800CX Run watch? How does the GPS compare with the Garmin?

I have the RS800CX Multi. They are pretty similar, I think mine just has bike functions too.

It's awesome..it's so far and away above the Garmin 205 (which is what I had before it) it's not even funny. It has the same GPS chipset as the Garmin, so the GPS accuracy is essentially the same. I can't tell any difference.

As far as how well it's engineered and made... and the features of the two... it's like comparing a Yugo to a Lexus... you'll love it.
