Shoe insert question (Read 418 times)

Shiksa

I was fitted for new running shoes. I've logged 50+ miles on my new shoes and really like them. However, my right foot is feeling weird in them. It feels like it needs something under my toes, but only on that foot. I had been wearing a stability shoe, and my new shoes are neutral with padding. Both pairs I've had were Asics. Should I try an insert in one shoe only? Does anyone have one neutral foot and one over-pronating foot? It starts to feel weird around mile 5-6. It is mainly my middle toe. It feels tingly and starts to hurt a little. I did not notice this until my LSR's.

I might try replacing the insoles, but I wouldn't run in shoes without something in there. I also wouldn't run with different brands in each shoe (or with two different styles of shoe, one for each foot) unless my doctor told me that I had to, and only then after getting a second and third opinion.
