What is it - is it one of those where some for-profit event company makes money off of suckers by charging them for a race that doesn't exist?

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

+1. Why would you pay $25 to a website - just to go out and run 5K

And call this my suspicious nature, but would John "new to the running community" 5595 not be linked to this website, trying to get from free publicity?
