I went for my first tempo on run this Friday morning. Had to run on a treadmill as it was raining outside. Set the treadmill on 1% incline to adjust for the fact that it's easier running on a treadmill than running outside. After a 2 km warm up at 8:00 pace (per km), moved to a 7:00 pace for 5 minutes and it felt quite comfortable so moved to 6:40 for 15 minutes and then cool down at 7:30 pace for 10 minutes. Will try and increase the length of the run next time around.
