Curious about RA access and security (Read 358 times)

Eric,

Are logs, forums, and member profiles accessible via Google or is it because I am member and have RA cookie on my computer? I was typing a running question using Google search and one result was a forum question on RA. I clicked link and was able to view member logs, user group forums, user profiles etc.

Being curious, I logged off RA and my home computer. I then logged on to my home computer using my wife's ID and redid search. Same result even though RA Join Now tab was visible. So thought I should ask since I thought only members could read forum posts, logs, profiles, etc. Operating system is XP and Internet explorer.

RA is a public site, accessible to all. You can make your log private by changing your preferences, trim any information from your profile that you wouldn't want the world to know, and some user groups are private. But the main forum is an open book.
