Running a super solid, consistent pace race. Of course I'm rooting for the 3:14:XX for a big I told you so moment!

Somewhere in between is about right "
Marby through the half in 1:43:47 so he's looking good for his sub 3:30 for now.
Steve slowing down. Just put up a 25:12. Hope that's the last 5:XX we see
Steve at halfway 1.38.35
Now comes the easy half!
Dave
Go Marby.
Yeah Steve estimated finish now almost 3.20.
He's slowing alot now. Could be some cramp issues.
Darn it, he was really holding up well. Hang in there Steve!
Ugh I'm gutted for Steve. Let's see if he can rally at all for a sub 3:30.
Marby putting on a hell of a clinic out there! Looks like he passed Steve between 35 and 40K
He's recovered slightly but it's a try for sub 3.30 now
It is just so hard to rally in the marathon when things go a little south. You basically can only do it for a cramp that goes away or stomach issues. If it's muscular fatigue, it's nearly impossible.
Marby across in 3:27:51! Fantastic!
Steve is home in 3:35. Looked like a rough final few K. Looking forward to the report, but welcome to the club Steve. Drink some well deserved beers!
3.35 will be interesting to hear what happened.
Looks like a painful finish but you are a marathoner now! 3:35 obviously is not a reflection of your fineness, but you will smash it next time!
