Wasnt really pain, more sore...right in the middle of it as I was running....when I'd stop, it would go away and come back again when I start running again

I have the same pain on a brand new pair of shoes. I can't figure out the problem. Never had it before.

I can't see your log but guess that these shoes could be a recent purchase...have you changed shoe? I ran some in a pair of INOV8 285s - rather minimalist - and have had trouble ever since! (read about 4 months Black eye

That's awhile - how much do you usually run each week? Even though I'm a low-mileage runner, the shoes I bought in August were way past due replacing two weeks ago (according to the shoe store guru I trust).

6 days a week...anywhere from 1 to 5 miles

So say 6 months x 30 days x 3 times a week average = 540 miles. I think you may need new shoes!

So if you take that as an average of 15 mpw * about 20 weeks - you probably have more than 300 miles on them. That would be the first thing I would look at.
