2:59:50 before chip timing existed, estimated I lost a minute at the start

2:54:56 lost less than 10 seconds at that one

In my book 3:59:55 rounds to 3:60 Smile.    I can see why you want to keep the 'seconds'!!

This is why I truncated my times.  I wanted to keep my PR 2:59:52 below three hours.

Have only run 3 and they were all with in the last 16 months.

I'm pretty sure that I can improve a bit.

                  3:11:00

Trivia question: The 3:11:00 was in 1994, and I was a 29-yr-old male. Did I miss qualifying for Boston by 1 minute, or by 1 second? (I hear there may have been a 59-second "grace period" or some such ...)

"As a dreamer of dreams and a travelin' man I have chalked up many a mile. Read dozens of books about heroes and crooks, And I've learned much from both of their styles." ~ Jimmy Buffett

"I don't see much sense in that," said Rabbit. "No," said Pooh humbly, "there isn't. But there was going to be when I began it. It's just that something happened to it along the way."”

After 80+ marathons. Yeah, I've improved a whole 14 minutes.

I did the 1/2 of that race in maybe 1:50 but had some serious struggling during the last 10 miles
