Sunrise/Sunset times to CSV for Google Calendar (Read 4110 times)

Marylander

I made a Sunrise/Sunset exporter for Google Calendar for my own use but thought others here might get some utility from it too. It's set up for North American daylight savings time but, of course, the formulas could be modified for wherever you are. The file is here: sunrise_sunset.xls. I actually started running last year but quit once the time changed in the fall (I'd decide not to run when I'd look out and see it was getting dark). I'm determined not to do the same thing this year (basically started over again) and figured a tool like this would help.

Put in your latitude, longitude, and the year (the yellow cells) and it will populate the 2nd worksheet with a full year's sunrise/sunset times that can be saved to a CSV file then imported into Google Calendar. I made a separate calendar just for sunrise/sunset times rather than gumming up my normal calendar.

Or you can use something like this.

When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?
