Question: How to log warmups/cooldowns for workouts/races (Read 97 times)

    Hello,

     

    I want to be able to log miles for warmups and cooldowns for both workouts and races. I want the mileage to count, but I do not want it included in PRs. How would I do something like this without creating seperate activities for warmups and cooldowns.

     

    Additionally, how do I modify the excersize to be tracked in time instead of reps. For something like planks.

      Separate activities. Unless you want the race itself to be a lap within the larger workout...which introduces a bunch of other challenges.

      Acceptable at a dance, invaluable in a shipwreck.

        I log them as separate activities, usually just as General Aerobic runs, that way they stay separate from the actual race entry.

          I just enter the warmup as an easy run.  Then start over for the race.  For a workout I just keep it as part of the overall workout and don't separate them.
