hats (Read 687 times)

Ok, it's sunny again. Yay! I would kill to find a extra long billed wicking baseball type hat to keep the sun out of my face. Not just my eyes, my entire face. I found some last year, but it looks like a baby bonnett and does not wick. In fact, it feels pretty gross once you start to sweat. And I must admit, I feel pretty stupid running with a huge sun hat on. Plus they don't stay on your head well. Maybe I should just invent one. This one does not look like it wicks. http://www.villagehatshop.com/longbill_ballcap.html?utm_source=Shopzilla&utm_medium=CSE&utm_campaign=Longbill%20Ballcap

    Menace to Sobriety

How about a visor? I'm not sure if anyone makes a wicking visor, but they definitely have better air circulation than an enclosed cap.

Janie, today I quit my job. And then I told my boss to go f*** himself, and then I blackmailed him for almost sixty thousand dollars. Pass the asparagus.

Yes, a visor would work, but the bill part needs to be extra long. Very hard to find. Here's the old baby bonnett which really looks ugly, and is not very comportable http://www.e4hats.com/_e/Pony_Tail_Peak_Cap/product/pp003su-white/Ponytail_Peak_Caps_White.htm

sunday afternoons has a great selection of hats for those who like to hide from the sun. My dh is fanatical about wearing hats...he wears his lifeguard hat when he runs at work and a sundayafternoon adventure hat on his runs away from work. I find the nike visor works just fine.

"Headsweats" makes a great line of wicking visors and hats. Good luck.

I did find one there, thanks. It's a 4 inch brim, I might try it.
