When I plug in my Garmin 210 I keep getting a message that reads "USB device not recognized". I had the 205 and never had this problem. I got the 210 for xmass and this is now going on. I just want to know if it's the device or the user (me) that is the issue. Any help or point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

First thing I'd do is run the Garmin WebUpdater (from Garmin's site) to verify that the Garmin software on the PC or Mac are all current and working. Then use the Garmin Communicator Test (from Garmin's site) to test the communication with the device.
When you get it all sorted out, and the test page reports good, then RA will find the device.
