I'm REALLY tired today...a little sore all over. And very happy. Can't wait to do it again next year!

Being the best tiny spec that I can be!
Nope. I've not had significant sit-bone pain since my early months on a bike. Consistent saddle time year-round makes ALL the difference. And I am on a relatively firm saddle (Selle San Marco Aspide Glamour Arrowhead...say that 5 times fast!). Looks like this, but in white:
Less is more with bike saddles.
You did good kid lots of accomplishments around here!! ...me? I'm at the pool
Oh, man...floating around in a pool sounds heavenly, right now! *jealous*
Oh dear.... looks like I might need to take a little trip to pick up some Brewery Vivant! (perhaps if I'm actually functional come Old Boys')
So, it was more than 50% harder than a century?
Well done!
an amazing likeness
How thoughtful of them to give you a convienent little slot to pee on the go....nice.
Acceptable at a dance, invaluable in a shipwreck.
zoomy, youre cool.
Bwahahaha...ewwww...I'm not an Ironman, gross! Though my bike is so filthy after riding through rain for a few hours that pee would have been probably the cleanest thing to run down the frame.
Birds of a feather...

It's the "ish" that'll get you! Great job! I didn't know MI was that far across.

It's hard to say if it was 50% harder than a century. It was easier than my first century, really, but maybe not 50% harder than the century I did 2 weeks ago--that one was hot, humid, and hilly. It helps that it wasn't hot, yesterday. I talked to a couple of people who agreed that coldish weather and rain was MUCH more conducive to riding well than heat would have been. I really appreciated not having to deal with sunblock at all.
As the crow flies it's probably closer to 130, but we were on noodly backroads for most of it, so that added distance.
