New Law Would Force Military to Supply US Made Running Shoes (Read 259 times)

What I find funny, is that my husband's first shirt started to bitch about the color of running shoes.  He doesn't like that they are now brightly colored.

I'll be glad when we're done with the neon/fluorescent/"see you a mile away" colored running shirts.

I wear them for safety purposes, not for good (or bad) looks.

I wouldn't mind some neutral and muted colored running shoes.  Pretty sick of the garish choices offered to men from ASICS.  Maybe the army will have a bit of influence on the products lines of running companies.

Would be funny if Newton won the DoD bid, though.

In general, when wearing your uniform, the Navy issues specific guidance on what is acceptable (I.e. black umbrella only, not colorful one). For the P.T. Uniform, I don't recall anything regarding the shoe color. However, a message came out regarding minimalist shoes (they are allowed).

the running shoe color is (should be) a non-issue.
