Nordictrack Commercial 1750 (Read 126 times)

Runningrock

So I am considering the nordictrack commercial 1750 treadmill. It would be a big upgrade from the Walmart special I have now. The reason I am posting is because my home gym is in the basement and has low ceilings. My current treadmill track rides about 9 inches off the ground. When I am running it leaves 6-8 inches of clearance over my head. I have been searching all over to figure how how high the track is off the ground on the nordictrack 1750. Does anyone have one and would be willing to measure for me?

    thanks!

The actual deck that you run on is  9 3/4" off the ground.

The side rails are 10 3/4" but then it drops down 1" to the belt.

... and that's at 0%. At 1% mine was a solid 11 inches. I've got a low ceiling in my basement and have it positioned so my head is between the joists. I'm just 5'10".

I too am in the same position, considering buying 2015 NordicTrack Commercial 1750, but have short ceilings.  For those that have this treadmill, can you also share the deck height when at full incline (15 degrees)?  NordicTrack claims this treadmill has a deck height of 12" when flat and 18" when fully inclined, but I've seen reports that it's not that high.   Also, are yours the 2015 model?  Thanks.
