Nutrition Balance for runners? (Read 57 times)

    Hi - I use MyFitnessPal to help track my calories from eating and exercising, and I notice it has a daily "recommended" balance of 50% carbs, 30% fat, and 20% protein.

     

    I figure that is probably meant for the general population, so I try to switch the fat and protein recommendations, i.e, I aim for 20% fat and 30% protein (keeping the carbs at 50%).

     

    Does that seem reasonable?

    PS: I'm running about 20-25 miles weekly at this point, will be ramping up over the next months.
