    I'm really curious now as to what the total amount raised was across all of the stores that participated yesterday.

     

    It must be a lot.  I don't know if we'll get any figures on this; the only outfit that could possibly compile the data is the IRRA, and their website doesn't even mention the event.  Maybe the retailer members will be privy to more info.  Or, OneFundBoston.org could do so if their donations are tagged as resulting from the event.

      I have to say, though, I don't think it's so much about the money, as about the solidarity of runners around the country.  To me, it was a statement: We will not be terrorized.
