Looking for some insight from anyone that may have tackled this beauty this past year. I see 2009 is scheduled for 9/5. Labor Day is 9/7. (Wondering why it would be held Labor Day weekend,...just such prime time!) Can I ask how your itenary went? Did you stay at Mission Point? Nite prior/nite after? Cost? Just looking for some inside scoops. I'd like to consider it as one of my 'do it' races next year. Thanks in advance! Jeanne

I stayed at Mission Pt once...it's nice. Everything on the island is going to be nice and pricey though, I don't know the figures. Personally I'd stay on the mainland and come over for the race but I'm cheap...
