Two pairs of shoes at once (Read 243 times)

I saw that particular potential value late last week as I went for a long run and got absolutely drenched. That's a rough way to break in a pair of shoes: doing a 15-miler as the second run was always going to be a little hard on the feet. Doing it in torrential rain for a couple of those miles and steady, though much softer rain, for another 4 or so—not to mention all the unavoidable puddles—suffice it to say, had I had a run planned for Saturday, I'd have wanted that second pair of shoes.
