    Roses Revenge

I like blinky things and reflective things and recently aquired a head lamp that I've been using in the dark.  I still managed to find an uneven bit of sidewalk covered with leaves and took a spectacular face plant last week.  Skinned knees.  Achy shoulder.  Cut on the bridge of my nose from my glasses.  Knot on the forehead.  Minor discoloration around my right eye and less so on my left eye.  I'm not sure how I didn't break my glasses. And I'm really glad that the eye discoloration was on the weekend so people at work wouldn't think somebody hit me.

+1.  We have lots of runners here in the business park.  Now that it's dark earlier, I see them from much farther away if they have blinkies on than just reflective garb.

I have one of these and it is very handy.

I clip that in the back of my headlamp.  With the light from my headlamp, I can see where I'm going and the blinker alerts everyone behind me.

I run trails at night and roads when it is still dark in the morning.
