I'm unfamiliar with who has the right of way for uphill/downhill.
Age-old etiquette is that downhill yields to uphill.
There's no laws or whatnot, but that's the typical courtesy.
That said, if someone's bombing down the hill, I usually just get out of the way
There is no state law about which direction to run on trails and I'm unfamiliar with who has the right of way for uphill/downhill.
I usually give the right of way to the person going downhill, but that's because I absolutely suck at hills and it gives me a good reason to stop. That said, years ago when I would mountain bike, if someone was going uphill and I was in a position to move, I would yield to them since it can be hard to get your momentum going if you stop.
