Hyannis Half Marathon (Read 325 times)

Well I am sorry to say I couldn't do the race. Wednesday morning I arrived at work and squatted down to remove a print out off the computer and had a hard time getting up. Since then I"ve been very uncomfortable to say the least. Poke52 and I arrived in Hyannis Friday night and I had high hopes that my back would ease up with the help of soaking in a hot tub. Saturday at noon we picked up our numbers and enjoyed the expo and later that night the pasta dinner. When Sunday morning rolled around and my husband had to put on my sneakers for me I knew it wasn't going to happen. So I was Poky52's cheerleader and had a great time meeting people from all over. Poky finished the race and I was proud to watch him cross that finish line. Disappointed but glad I was there. Gogrammy ps: Well done Jeff and enjoyed your write up !
