New Book on Nutrition (Read 81 times)

L.Chang

I have started reading Diet for Dancers by Robin Chmelar and Sally Fitt. I wasn't sure if it was the right book for me (since I'm not exactly a dancer), but so far I like it. It it incredibly in-depth when it comes to explaining how the body digests food and derives nutrients. Also, it seems to me that it focuses on developing a unique diet/nutritional plan that suits your activity level.

Anyway, I've only started reading it and have little experience with starting any kind of nutrition/diet plan. I eat a balanced diet but don't go out of my way to think about what I eat or how it affects my running or my other exercises.

What are your experiences with starting a regimented nutritional plan? What tips can you offer?
