Forums >Gears and Wears>Insoles for let feet adjust to shoes?
I have recently started running in the Cumulus 15 and have been having some problems with numbness on the ball of my feet. After looking at reviews on Runners World I found out that the Cumulus have less padding in the forefoot compared to the Pegasus 29 that I use to run in. So my question is should I buy insoles to fix this problem or should I just let me feet adjust to the firmer ride? Thanks.
you'll adjust... the Cumulus is super cushioned, it's just different

see how you are feeling. if too much discomfort, then look into insoles. otherwise, let it ride.... i have used insoles sometimes simply because i think it will help extend the life of the shoes and put off purchasing the next replacement shoes. however, the minute i start to feel like the shoes 'aren't right' anymore, i replace.....
I decided not to purchase insoles and didn't have any problems on my last couple runs. So I think my feet are adjusting. Thanks for the replies.
