I'm about to start up my Outdoor Track season and I'm opening up with 5,000m in about a week. Current PR is 17:13 and am aspiring to run in the 16:40's range. Have had a lot of recent success at the distance.
What are some mental preparation techniques I can use in order to improve my focus in that last 1/3 of the race? Also any 5,000m race strategy tips?
